Committed to excellence, we are currently looking for a high-quality individual to join our team as a Procurement & Purchasing Card Governance Sr. Analyst.

Responsibilities:
The Procurement Center of Excellence is a service organization to the Supply Chain, scoped with defining and maintaining processes, policies, tools, metrics, change management and knowledge management.
This role is a key team member, supporting three areas of importance to the success of the Procurement Center of Excellence:
  • Purchasing card governance: Responsible for purchasing governance through analyzing data related to P-card usage, creating metrics, analyzing trends, identifying and acting on non-conformities to the program policy.
  • Process, tools and policy governance: As policies, processes and tools are implemented, key metrics are defined to measure their benefits / effectiveness, compliance and penetration. The Procurement Governance and P-card Senior Analyst is responsible for managing and monitoring the metrics and trends, and acting on them when significant non-conformities are identified.
  • New Process / Tools Testing and Introduction: Under the direction of one of the project managers, this senior analyst will test new processes and tools and provide data and feedback, sometime for periods of up to several weeks.
  • Support the governance of Procurement processes and policies through creating, reporting and reviewing key metrics, identifying the root causes of issues that are identified through the metrics, following up with people engaged in using the process
  • Maintain key metrics assigned to measure the benefits, compliance and penetration of Procurement processes and policies, including collecting and displaying data in Power BI and analyzing trends
  • Recommend changes to Procurement processes, policies and tools
  • As assigned, manage projects to improve procurement processes, policies, metrics and tools
  • Review and maintain metrics on purchasing card usage (P-cards) including trend analysis
  • Investigate non-conformities / non-compliance to the P-card policy and follow up with P-card users and their leaders in accordance with the P-card policy
  • As assigned, support Procurement process development projects by performing tests to processes and tools, collecting data and providing feedback
  • Ability to travel up to 20%
  • Key responsibilities may evolve over time and specific deliverables outside of the scope of the above may be added

Requirements for the employee

Personality requirements and skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Communications, or equivalent level of relevant experience.
  • MBA / MS a plus
  • 2+ years of experience, with preference given to analytics, project management, banking, procurement, strategic sourcing and supply chain experience
  • Change Management experience preferred
  • Quality and/or Six Sigma experience preferred
  • ERP experience preferred
  • Proficient in MS office applications; strategic sourcing application software experience preferred
  • Ability to create and display metrics in Power BI
  • Analytical, problem solving skills. Practical understanding of fundamental financial management concepts, currencies impact
  • Performance and Reporting Management: able to ensure timely and appropriate generation, collection, distribution, and communication of metrics and /or project progress and status information to project stakeholders
  • Ability / experience to work in a fast-paced environment and across multiple projects
  • Exceptional teamwork, communication and relationship skills.
  • Proactive, self-starter. Ability to summarize complex data.
  • Ability to read, write and communicate in English
