The Transition Lead will:
- serve as the primary point of contact for transition activities related to the Finance/ Global Business Services (GBS) transformation
- help in driving the migration of activities from various global locations to GBS.
- support the end-to-end transition process including strategy, planning, detailed process walk throughs, transition/ work-shadowing and stabilization/ hyper-care.
- drive a continuous improvement mindset and culture with GBS by helping to lead Kaizen events and other associated activities.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in relevant regional meetings and work sessions to provide insights through best demonstrated performance and lessons learned
- Support development, provide oversight and drive execution of migration plans
- Align migration activities between sending and receiving locations
- Identify key risks and facilitate resolution in coordination with global PMO
- Work closely with site leads to ensure adequate resourcing
- Manage work shadowing and GBS work shadowing resources
- Manage customer relations and GBS talent
- Develop exit criteria for transition to steady state operations
- Develop hyper-care support model and governance structure
- Provide status updates on migration execution
- Develop detailed processes, standards, and tools for each Serve Management Framework component
- Support resource estimates, detailed GBS organization structure, and job descriptions; support sites in defining retained organizations

- Knowledge of finance processes and operations is required; experience with multi-functions GBS and IT systems is preferred
- Experienced in designing detailed country level transition plans with work-shadowing approach and training strategy
- Customer centric mindset to develop a service based GBS organization
