Committed to excellence, we are currently looking for a high-quality individual to join our team as Finance Analyst:

Purpose of the role:

• Driving completion of the statutory accounts in a timely manner and in accordance with applicable accounting standards.
• Implementing KPI metrics to enable Global Business Services (GBS) leadership effectively manage the capacity and performance of the teams and to present the GBS results to the key stakeholders (internal customers and leadership).
• Participating in various projects across GBS Finance related to process harmonization and improvements to drive workflow efficiency, timely and accurate output, and/or cost reduction across GBS Finance.
• Responsible to ensure continuous improvement of the data analysis and reporting processes. This may include standardizing or automating data analysis steps, harmonizing data for consistent processing and reporting, identify and implementing new tools to improve timeliness, accuracy and efficiency of metric reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Complete all financial reports and accounts required by statutory bodies to ensure that the company complies with regulatory reporting requirements.
• Cooperate with external accountants on regular basis, provide inputs for posting of invoices and other transactions, request approval based on the approval matrix and help to solve issues or inconsistencies.
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports and/or statements
• Ensure timely and accurate completion of balance sheet reconciliations
• Assist with the budgeting and forecasting for the new Financial year and oversee the spend to ensure it is aligned with the approved budget.
• Actively engage with GBS leadership and Global process owners s to capture and define service level target definitions, measurements and data requirements. Define data requirements to effectively and accurately measure actual service delivered and present overall results in a meaningful form to the leadership and internal customers.
• Accurate and timely reporting of Service Delivery Standards metrics and publishing monthly to all GBS customer stakeholders.
• Perform root cause analysis to identify process and data flow issues and/or data discrepancy issues.
• Serve as expert resource to develop and implement operational performance tracking models, analytical and statistical models.
• Manage all aspects of end-to-end data analysis and reporting using report building functions of systems, MicroSoft products, and/or other data management technology tools.
• Identifiy and leverage data from various ERP systems to support cross-process synergies.
• Suggest or participate in selection of software product applications for automating manual operational tasks defined by GBS tower leadership.
• Oversee the performance of security administration functions including maintaining a security matrix for GBS applications and configuring the security within the applications.
• Together with GPOs drive a structured business approach to create and manage project plans to implement changes aimed at improving the effectiveness and efficiency of GBS processes and drive to minimize input/touch points with location Points of Contact

Personality requirements and skills

• University Degree in Accounting or Finance required
• Minimum of 5 years related experience
• Lean or Six Sigma Certification is a plus
• Experience with analytic and data management or software development environment required
• Experience with SQL database tools a plus
• Knowledge of Accounting Information System software a plus
• Strong analytic skills and experience working with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems such as Microsoft Dynamics, SAP, Oracle
• Demonstrated ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Advanced abilities with data management using MicroSoft Office tools and other systems/database
• Knowledge in writing and coding Excel macros, pivot tables, formaulas is strongly preferred
• Analytical with the ability to process and synthesize data
• Demonstrated ability to think strategically and innovate where necessary to drive improvements
• Fundamental knowledge and experience in design and analysis of performance measurements
• Strong interpersonal skills with a proven ability to work effectively with all levels of an organization
• Motivated self-starter with strong decision-making, communication, organization and multi-tasking abilities.
• Comfort working in a global business environment that is undergoing process and technology changes
• Flexible and willing to work as a team to cultivate change and process improvements
• Ability to meet deadlines
• Written and oral fluency in English. Written and oral proficiency in European languages is a plus
• Able to work independently
