Senior Attorney

Who we're looking for:

We are looking for a Senior Attorney for our Legal Team. The position is suitable for a senior lawyer with legal practice experience of at least 8-10 years (minimum five years practicing as an Attorney). Specialization and expertise in certain specific area or regulatory field (e.g. banking & finance, digital/technology, data protection, energy, LSHC) is more than welcomed.

Requirements:

• University degree - Slovak Faculty of Law;
• minimum 8–10-year experience in legal area focusing on civil and commercial legal area (minimum five years practicing as an Attorney);
• Managing and mentoring team of other lawyers and/or associates;
• Experience in one or more of the following fields is an advantage:
• Digital/Technology
• Banking &Finance
• Life Science & Healthcare
• Personal Data Protection
• Energy;
• Excellent knowledge of Slovak and English (including professional terminology and ability to draft the legal documents in English);
• Good PC skills.

Your future role:

• Day to day advisory on clients’ issues primarily in the areas of your relevant expertise;
• Legal advisory, preparation of legal statements, commenting on and assessing legal documents, potentially representing the clients in front of the courts and in administrative proceedings;
• Contractual agenda;
• Structuring, implementation and participation in complex projects and transactions including due diligence processes;
• Responsibility for entrusted tasks and projects and leading junior colleagues;
• Identifying new opportunities, active business development and building relationships with professionals and clients;
• Building the law firm’s profile, eminence and developing close working relationships both internally and externally.

• Remuneration: (i) starting from EUR 5000 per month (higher renumeration may be agreed depending on the professional qualifications, experience, and business development potential) + (ii) yearly variable fee based on the financial results and mutually agreed KPIs.
