Senior In-House Lawyer (m/f)

Who we're looking for:

We are looking for a new member of our internal legal team. A suitable candidate for this position must have appropriate legal knowledge and experience in the Slovak law, of which at least a part has been as an internal lawyer. This experience should be in contractual, corporate, civil law and regulatory matters. Relevant experience in IT law and data privacy is a valuable advantage. The candidate should be motivated by new challenges, be a good team player capable of working in a dynamic and international environment. Requirements:

• University master’s degree (Slovak law);
• At least seven years’ relevant experience after graduation, out of which few years at an internal legal department of an international firm;
• Previous experience with the execution/management of legal projects or participation in projects with responsibility for legal matters;
• Relevant experience of IT law and data privacy is an advantage;
• Working professional use of English and Slovak, both written and verbal;
• Good computer literacy - MS Office applications.

Your future role:

• Independent management of company’s legal agenda – in corporate, contractual and regulatory matters;
• Providing legal advice on applicable data protection legislation, enforcement of Deloitte related policies and procedures to ensure compliance from data protection legislation perspective;
• Providing legal support to our consulting projects with overall responsibility for related contractual and IT legal matters;
• Resolution and management of the company’s legal issues, ie legal assistance and support to other internal departments;
• Regular monitoring of new legislation and its implementation; • Representing the company before official authorities;
• Drafting and reviewing standard company documents, including contract templates and internal policies.
