FSI Audit Manager (m/f)

In role of Audit Manager for Financial Services Industry (FSI) Audit Team you will focus on providing audit services to a portfolio of diversified clients in the financial services sector (including banking/securities, insurance and investment management. You will cooperate with the partner building strong relationships with clients and ensuring the delivery of top quality services and solutions to client on specific delegated engagements / projects.  Your skills make you ideal for the role:

  • 5+ years of FSI audit or audit advisory experience;
  • High degree of self-motivation and strong career aspirations;
  • Strong commitment to providing an excellent client service;
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines;
  • Audit licenses would be an advantage;
  • ACCA qualification (completed or in progress) or CPS, CIA and other similar;
  • Hands on experience with IFRS advisory and implementation projects as manager;
  • Management skills - being able to manage multiple colleagues across different pieces of work to ensure effective delivery;
  • An understanding of key financial processes in a bank and the typical risks associated with these processes;
  • Excellent written and oral self-expression in English, (proficiency in German would be an advantage);
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills.

Your future role:

  • Maintaining relations with existing and potential clients;
  • Managing audit engagements, including the planning, execution and reporting thereof;
  • Identifying new business opportunities in cooperation with partners;
  • Working on assessing gap and impact assessment of major accounting standards on the company operation as well as assisting in implementation of new accounting standards;
  • Preparation of financial statements in compliance with IFRS;
  • Utilizing IFRS technical knowledge.
