Software Engineer - Sabrix

What you’ll achieve

This is an Engineering role which requires strong analysis, design, configuration, testing, and training, documentation, and deployment, technical support skills.

As a Software Engineer for Sabrix, you will need hands-on Indirect Tax Systems specifically Sabrix/OneSource Indirect Tax Determination & business processes experience.

You be responsible for a variety of duties including vanilla implementation of Determination, enhancements, supporting users, diagnosing and resolving problems, implementing custom alerts/messages, configuration changes, testing, working with global cross-functional business/IT production owners and development resources etc.

You will:

• Take responsibility for Defining overall OneSource Indirect Tax Determination application functional/business requirements and owns application modifications/ configurations/ processes for solutions to business requirements.
• Responsible for design, Production Readiness, Go-Live, Stabilization Support and creating Process, Taxability Rules, Nexus, Legal Entities, Configuration.
• Gather upstream ERP/Calling applications functional requirements, design analysis and technical assistance from Sabrix integration perspective.
• Support OneSource Indirect Tax Determination Technical & Architecture Requirements.
• Support Project Management Administration.
• Support OneSource Indirect Tax Determination issue resolution and documentation.
• Analyze model test discrepancies to find trends and works with IT interlock programmers to resolve.
• Analyze data in order to determine root causes and proposed process improvements to maximize quality and customer experience.
• Establish cost and time estimates for development/ implementation of projects.
• Support Production Readiness, Go-Live, Stabilization Support.
• Create communication plans (correspondence, presentations, and other materials) for knowledge transfer to leadership and support organization.
• Create Tax Summary, Configuration and training documents.

Essential Requirements

• 2-5 years of recent work experience with OneSource Indirect Tax Determination (previously known as Sabrix) in either implementation or support capacity.
• Hands-on Indirect Tax Systems specifically Sabrix/OneSource Indirect Tax Determination & business processes experience.
• Candidates must possess strong hands-on experience & understanding of tax touch points in Order to Deliver to Cash, Procure to Pay life cycles, intercompany relations along with application set-ups, functionality and have the ability to diagnose, resolve problems within and between modules / IT interlock applications.
• Prior experience of project test plan, use cases, test scenarios and perform Unit, functional testing, System Integration Testing (SIT) and conducting User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Having SQL, XML knowledge for troubleshooting purposes is a MUST.
• Documentation of functional specifications for enhancement requests will be required.

Desirable Requirements

• Excellent Communication skills, experience of working with global teams and flexibility are added advantages.
• Knowledge of Agile process, leveraging Microsoft TFS at a high technical level during most phases of systems analysis while considering the business implications of the application of technology to the current and future business environment.
• Prior implementation experience on Oracle / SAP Finance modules and related Sabrix integration experience would be an added advantage.

Salary starting from: 1860 EUR gross / month
