What you’ll achieve

As a Senior Analyst virtualization Engineer you will be responsible for support the ESXi VMware Infrastructure for Dell Technologies. You will work with various IT Infrastructure and Security teams with VMware technologies on the RENBE initiative.

You will:

• Be responsible for vCenter / ESXi Server administration, troubleshooting, upgrades, and patch  management to comply with Security Vulnerability and Risk Management ;

• Vendor Coordination to resolve hardware and software incidents and follow-ups until service is restored and ticket closure;

• Responsible for operating system vCenter / ESXi Server patches installation and upgrades;

• Writing automation code using industry standard tools (Ansible, Puppet, Terraform, Python, PowerShell, etc.).

Essential Requirements

• experience in remote IT Infrastructure support of global enterprise-class applications and databases deployed in hybrid cloud platforms.

• experience with VMware vCenter, ESXi / ESX, is required. This experience should include the planning, deployment, configuration, and administration of large-scale host systems and virtual machines (>50,000 VM’s);

• experience in designing and deploying VMware virtualization, cloud management and cloud operations products & technologies - vSphere, vSAN, and vRealize Operations required;

Desirable Requirements

• VMware Certified Professional (VCP) preferred; ITIL v3 Foundation

• Experience writing Infrastructure automation code for VMware virtualization administration using industry standard tools (Ansible, Terraform, Python, and PowerShell).

Salary starting from 2000 EUR brutto
