What you’ll achieve

At the beginning, you will learn from senior team members by participating in assigned tasks and getting continuous feedback via code review. Later you will work independently on setting-up jobs in Airflow and manage Airflow backend. Deployment of apps into Kubernetes pods and orchestrating them

You will:

• Co-dev API's and microservices deployed in company cloud.
• Maintain DataOps databases and monitoring jobs.
• Work with datasets in Hadoop and S3 Buckets.
• Set up and maintain Spark Streaming jobs.
• Get hands-on experience with Kafka.

Essential Requirements

• Daily student at Slovak university able to work 20 hours a week during weekdays and stay with us for at least 1 year
• Education (Bachelor’s degree or higher) in Computer Science/IT, Applied Science, Math, Statistics, or equivalent science field;
• Coding experience with Python
• Willing to master Data transformation and database development (ETL, SQL OLAP, Teradata)
• With teamwork spirit and enable to be part of a global team, with remote leaders and peers
• Being self-reliant and capable of both independent work and as a member of a team

Hourly salary: starting from 6,60 EUR gross
