Job description, responsibilities and duties
POSITION PROFILE:
- Provides market research, monitoring of potential, and acquiring new customers,
- Ensures communication and acquisition of new projects with existing customers,
- Coordinates the pricing process for new projects and pricing negotiations with customers,
- Ensures compliance with DEFTA's business policy and cooperation in the DEFTA SK,
- It supports good communication between different customer departments and DEFTA SK,
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Implementation of the DEFTA Group's commercial policy within the DEFTA SK,
- Maintaining good relationships and communication with customers,
- Preparation of price offers for customers and their updating,
- Verification of compliance between price offers and customer orders,
- Answers to customers to questionnaires and surveys monitoring compliance with the plans,
- Participation in price negotiations and business events organized by customers,
- A collaboration with engineering to review drawings and review contracts with customers,
- Monitoring the fulfillment of agreed annual quantities in customer orders,
- Logistics support in communication with the DEFTA group and with customers on the correctness of invoiced prices,
- Registration and updating of customer information (contact persons, product changes, ...),
- Participation in dispute resolution between different customer departments and DEFTA SK,
- Overseeing the planning of start-up projects in cooperation with project managers, engineering, and quality,
Close cooperation with:
Management - approving financially binding decisions,
Engineering - verification of feasibility and tech. project security,
Quality - monitoring of existing quality problems and their fin. settlement,
Logistics - providing logistics operations for new projects,
Accounting Dept. - monitoring the payment discipline of customers,
