Big Data Developer

During your initial training, you will be introduced to our business and product portfolio, after which you will be responsible for development of software tools which support our consulting services and software products delivered to our customers.

Your role & responsibilities will include:

• Independent development of software / data model design
• Targeted research and productive implementation of the latest trends and technologies in the Big Data area
• Creation of work packages for other team members & effort estimates
• Support on customer implementation projects & customer support
• Active knowledge sharing within your team as well as across teams

Your tasks will vary based on your skills, experience and competencies.

You are a professional Software Developer, who is passionate about SAP and interested in Big Data technologies such as Hadoop, Hive, Spark or machine learning.

• You have 3+ years of experience in a development position
• You have good knowledge of ABAP programming language and SQL
• You have a good understanding of object-oriented programming, UML and Design Patterns
• You are interested in Hadoop and newest Big Data technologies
• You have good English skills (speaking and writing)

NICE TO HAVE

• Experience with Hadoop, Hive, Spark, AWS
• Experience with Scrum / Agile methodology
• German language is beneficial
