Job description, responsibilities and duties
Key responsibility:
- installation, integration, administration as well as monitoring of network components (WAN and LAN connectivity, routers, firewalls),
- enforcing and maintaining the company network security and integrity in a high availability environment,
- management of the core IT hardware infrastructure (servers and storage system) and management of Microsoft Windows & Linux based server operating systems (AD, DNS, DHCP, license managers, file services, print services etc.),
- level-2 Support for our central hubs across Danucem, on-call duty on occasion (remote) and emergency troubleshooting,
- sdministration and maintenance of the remote monitoring and management system: update agent scripts, respond to alerts, monitor dashboard, and periodic system review.
Other tasks:
- ensures the development, maintenance and support of server, storage, backup, network and application technologies/solutions (hardware and software) in the company in compliance with the standards and comply with the license rules,
- keep up with trends in the constantly evolving information technology industry. Facilitate innovation and improvement ideas in the company,
- collaborate with other IT technical teams to ensure continuity of services, issue resolution, and integrated solutions,
- planning, control and implementation of network projects as well as preparation of operational concepts,
- assist with maintenance and testing of disaster recovery and business continuity plans as it pertains to managed devices,
- documents necessary enterprise technology architecture design and analysis work, possibly including project postmortem documentation and metric collection.
