Danfoss offers you a true global and multicultral opportunity to work as our Global Product Environmental Compliance (PEC) Analyst. Your primary objective is to successfully secure that DPS Suppliers provide required chemical constituency information of purchased materials. You will play a vital role to request, gather, assess, and preserve data in order prepare chemical constituency material declarations to comply with various chemical substance legal requirements and meet customer expectations.

You will work from our Danfoss Power Solutions plant in Povazska Bystrica reporting to the Product Environmental Compliance Leader.

Maing tasks:
  • Working with Global Procurement and suppliers to ensure Danfoss´s products comply with chemical constituency laws and regulations
  • Developing and maintaining competency regarding global chemical substance legal requirements including, but not limited to EU REACH, EU RoHS 2, China RoHS and Conflict Minerals
  • Developing and maintaining Suppliers´Environmental Compliance Database
  • Training and promoting awareness of environmental requirements within the supply chain
  • Developing and monitoring supplier environmental compliance performance according to defined critical metrics
  • Ensuring supplier product environmental certificates and information are correct, complete and archived
  • Supporting direct manager with critical legal and customer reporting issues
  • Creating a cross-reference of material restriction requirements of individual clients to obligations/requirements of manufacturers under current laws and regulations
  • Supporting Product Environmental Compliance in satisfying the customer’s requirements and meeting his/her obligations under applicable law
  • Utilize and support IT Solutions used to collect and handle Product Environmental Compliance data
Background and skills
  • 2 or more years of technical experience working with Quality, Engineering and/or Supplier Management Functions
  • Strong English-speaking and writing skills (must be effective in conducting verbal conversations and written correspondence)
  • Strong in building and maintaining cross-organizational cooperation
  • Basic understanding of SAP or similar ERP system
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills - Excel, Power Point and Word
