Danfoss is seeking a passionate & motivated Senior Engineer, Product Environmental Compliance to join our Center for Sustainability in the Global R&D, Centers of Excellence organization. Focusing on growing our Product Environmental Compliance culture you bring experience supporting us during the Material Data gathering process as well being in close collaboration with our sales representatives to satisfy our customers. Working in our Center for Sustainability, you will also support the development and maintenance of an exciting and big product portfolio. Working at our location in Považská, you will contribute during the full Product Lifecycle to ensure environmental compliant products with competitive advantages and delivering value for Danfoss.
Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following:
- You are playing an important role within our Material Data collection process.
- Help to drive Customer success by delivering environmental compliance information as well as product specific material data.
- Be part in choosing the right materials during our Product Development in regards to global environmental legislations such as RoHS, REACH, Prop65,….
- Participate in work groups and best practice groups to develop yourself and share knowledge.
- Promote a PEC culture across the company and train your colleagues as needed

Personality requirements and skills
You are interested in non-road mobile machinery and their hydraulic and electric solutions. It is an advantage to have a basic understanding for mobile hydraulic systems. You have a strong team spirit and can build relations and cooperate across borders and cultures. You are known for your positive and can-do mind-set. You contribute to a fun and helpful work environment, where trust is key. You have a solid analytical ability, good communication skills and focus on details enabling you to see matters from an environmental compliance point of view.
Furthermore you have:
- Bachelor/Master degree and proven skills in Product Environmental Compliance.
- 5+ years of experience in product environmental compliance.
- Relevant experience with various product environmental compliance legislations such as REACH, RoHS, SCIP, IHM, conflict minerals,….
- Understand data structure and data ownership for product related data, especially in context of environmental compliance.
- History of solution-oriented and independent working style with the ability of best practice sharing.
- Proficiency in English languages in verbal and written formats
- Ability to travel occasionally
