Job description, responsibilities and duties
Join our Shared Service Centre as a Senior Accountant, work together with great colleagues within Danfoss group and use your organizational talent to coordinate with various stakeholders, auditors, and suppliers.
You will work from Povazska Bystrica and report to a local Manager.
Job Responsibilities:
• Responsible for accurate, timely, and relevant recording, reporting, and analysis of financial information
• Perform closing activities (monthly, quarterly, annually) in compliance with corporate and country legislation and guidance
• Preparation of financial reports such as financial statements and budget performance
• Prepare internal and external audit schedules and respond to inquiries
• Prepare or review/approve monthly journal entries and reconciliations
• Initiate and/ or participate in continuous improvement projects

To be considered for the role we expect at least secondary education in the area of accounting or economy, 3+ years of experience at similar role.
• At least secondary education with specialization in accounting or economy
• Min. 3 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance
• Knowledge of MS office (Excel and Word)
• Fluent English (knowledge of other languages will be an advantage)
• Knowledge of SAP, Business Intelligence, HFM would be beneficiary
• Good communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with a variety of stakeholders, to work effectively with all levels of the organization, individually, in groups and across cultures
• We appreciate a motivated, analytical, and self-starter colleague
