Supplier Quality Engineer

Danfoss is looking for an experienced Supplier Quality Engineer to join our team. In this position, you will manage and drive the supplier claim handling process, implement effective long-term corrective actions, condact PPAP process and engage internal and external stakeholders to implement necessary changes to all related processes and documentation, with the main focus on castings. 

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following:

Ensuring supplier quality and performance data are available and accurate at all times for suppliers in their category
Resolve supplier corrective action requests to system-level completion
Ensuring supplier understands change control expectations as outlined in the supplier quality manual
Verify form and content of the PPAP documents meet standards by completing the PPAP checklist and communicate issues back to suppliers for correction
Supplier claim handling activities
Being responsible for follow up and verification of implemented corrective actions
Verifying actions are in place and effective
Conducting process audits at supplier during visits
Ensuring supplier representatives and management are fully engaged and taking ownership of problems and solutions
