You will become part of our European service team based in Povazska Bystrica, where we build skills by sharing knowledge. You will also get the necessary on-boarding and training.

Your key task will be to:
Prepare, analyse and submit European VAT returns and related filings
Prepare, analyse and submit Intrastat returns as necessary
Analyse reports to secure VAT compliance
Participate in setting up and maintaining the control environment for Indirect Taxes (VAT)
Assist in the mapping of VAT processes, and identify areas for improvement and solutions for VAT issues
Assist in the implementation of changes of the EU VAT legislation as well as during the implementation in SAP and monitor the indirect tax compliance
Participate in Global Tax Projects
Reconcile of GL accounts and supervise on the use of the correct VAT codes
Provide internal and external audit support, including data analysis
Provide VAT compliance support to colleagues throughout the business

Minimum bachelor’s degree in accounting and/or auditing or relevant working experience
Practical experience with indirect taxes (gained in international companies) 2-3 years
Knowledge of European tax regulations will be an advantage
Experience in dealing with queries from tax authorities/tax inspections
Analytic and problem-solving skills, good communication, flexible, teamplayer, ability to work in changing environment, quality focus and attention to details
Good English language skills is a must (verbal & written)
Practical knowledge of SAP would be beneficiary
MS Excel skills
Positive and open-minded attitude
