Credit Management Team Leader

Leading up to 10 team members and reporting to Credit Manager, you will be responsible for managing credit risk and collection of Accounts Receivable for Danfoss Group in Europe. You will leverage your credit management experience and work with customers, sales team and internal stakeholders to minimize risk and enhance cash flow whilst maximizing sales opportunities. You will be part of Global Services organization within Danfoss group – that enable the world of tomorrow to do more with less. The company’s wide range of products and services are used in areas such as cooling food, air conditioning, heating buildings, controlling electric motors and powering mobile machinery.

You will be responsible for
• Management of the day-to-day credit & collection process;
• Making decisions about release of blocked orders;
• Communication with internal and external customers to ensure prompt and on-time payment of receivables and resolution of disputed open items;
• Monitoring of performance and proactively managing day to day workload in the team to ensure KPI´s are met;
• Assess credit risk and customer´s creditworthiness in order to make decisions about order releases, as well as credit limits in accordance with delegation of power;
• Escalate and support query resolution in close cooperation with Cash Application and Customer Service;
• Accurate credit data and collection files;
• Regular / Ad hoc reporting on team performance, aging of accounts receivables and management of disputes;
• Compliance with accounts receivable and credit management procedures and guidelines. Collaborate in their design and implementation to improve efficiency;
• Internal/external Audit support;
• People management responsibilities:
o Team support and leadership in daily operation of the team;
o Participating in hiring process, securing on-boarding of new employees, hosting monthly one on ones and secure development of the individual team members;
o Provide training and coaching on soft and technical skills within the team.
