Senior Strategic Buyer

We are looking for an experienced Senior Strategic Buyer at our Danfoss Power Solutions location in Povazska Bystrica.

In your role as Senior Strategic Buyer, you will be responsible for the supplier management for selected categories, e.g. foundry castings, machined parts and forging parts. You will align supplier strategies with Corporate Category Procurement. Furthermore, you will manage supplier capacities including bottleneck management, monitor supplier performance regarding time, quality and cost, and initiate respective improvement activities and projects. Your tasks include the supplier contract management for Logistic Service Level Agreements, specifying key figures such as capacity or packaging. You will represent procurement in engineering change management processes and lead supplier meetings and workshops. You will lead and manage supplier projects such as capacity increases, process improvements, quality improvements, cost reductions, risk mitigations, supplier changes and dual source projects.
