Data Scientist

At CulturePulse, we’re always discovering new ways to use AI and data science to better understand society, markets, and what makes us human. In addition to building a new SaaS product to help the world better understand social media. We’re using our state of the art AI system on many other projects, and always looking to expand our product offerings both as deployed systems in the cloud, and in private consulting for clients ranging from top universities and NGOs to government research projects to social media companies and their marketing clients.

That’s why we’re looking for a versatile and curious data scientist to join our team. Ideally, you’re comfortable not only creating ML systems and digging into the newest work in NLP, but also curious about new forms of modeling including advanced statistics and big-data, possibly even agent based modeling!

You’ll be the first of several, so we’re ideally looking for someone who works well independently, but also as part of a larger international team.

Duties and Responsibilities
Work with an international team to develop new insights and NLP models, largely in the social media space
Lead social media analytics and data science
Write fully testable, high-quality code
Engage in discussions about data ethics with founders and stakeholders
Ability to complete sophisticated analytics projects where you have to resolve salient questions in a sophisticated ecosystem and present action-oriented conclusions

CulturePulse is hiring for its new European expansion. We offer flexible working space in multiple locations and do not have restrictions on home office work.
We are expanding to new offices just outside Bratislava and offer opportunities for networking and solid integration with a wide range of developers and experts in the region.
We promote engagement in a wide range of topics and host and participate in events outside of just our core domain.
Annual team building events in Europe are a thing now for us if you want. Also spontaneous things throughout the year in Bratislava and the surrounding area.
