Job description, responsibilities and duties

We are looking for an experienced Tax Manager to lead and manage multiple operations of the tax practice area and to deliver quality tax services, that will increase firm’s reputation. You will serve as business advisor to our clients aiming at maximizing engagement and achieving qualitative outcomes. As the Tax Manager you will ensure compliance with state federal and international tax law, monitor current and impending changes to tax regulation and make the appropriate updates to policies and strategies.

The ideal candidate is a team player who manages the tax team to greater performance, creates and implements tax plans and cooperates with the accounting team to identify opportunities for process improvement and potential areas of risk.

- Manage tax provision for Clients and tax compliance process.
- Deliver a full range of tax services in compliance with laws and regulations within timeframe for Clients.
- Build, maintain relationships, and interact with clients to provide excellent planning, consulting, and expertise.
- Provide innovative tax planning, facilitate, and manage the preparation and review of Client companies’ CIT returns and the accurate, timely filing of all other tax forms, including VAT returns.
- Process the Company's taxations, identify and evaluate the tax risks as well as counteracting them.
- Monitor legislative and regulatory tax law developments, communicate the effects of these developments to the Clients, the Company’s management, and the tax team.
- Prepare regular reports for the management and provide support with various internal audits and special tax related projects.
- Find and implement opportunities for process improvement in company tax procedures.
- Optimize respective procedures and adapt them to the identified options.
- Manage and mentor members of tax team to greater levels of effectiveness and engagement.

University education (Master's degree)

Number of years of experience

at least 2 years

Personality requirements and skills

- Degree in tax/business/economics or any other related field
- Possession of a Tax Licence
- Practical experience in the field of taxation for at least 2 years
- Practical experience in a management role for at least 1 year
- Knowledge of English language (at least B2 proficiency)
- Strong skills and experience with Excel, Word, Outlook
- Knowledge of OMEGA accounting program is an advantage

- Extensive knowledge of taxation, tax compliance and familiarity with all types of tax returns and procedures esp. for corporations.
- Excellent knowledge of all types of taxes, both direct and indirect.
- Strong experience with a variety of tax operations and ability to drive process improvements.
- Strong ability to utilize project management and accounting best practices to organize and prioritize tasks and the tasks of other tax team members.
- Ability to work well independently as well as the ability to work well with Clients and communicate the benefits of tax initiatives.
- Exceptional client service along with the ability to develop excellent client relationships
- Analytical skills with detail orientation, strong accounting, and research skills
- Well-developed organizational, interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong leadership and personnel management skills
