Our equity investment platform (Investment marketplace and qualified investors fund CB Property Investors) is looking for a bright and engaged Investment Manager to join our growing real estate team in our Bratislava office in a full-time role.

Working closely with the senior management and other members of the Crowdberry team in Slovakia and Czech republic, the candidate will participate in:

(i) the real estate investment process from origination to execution, including elements of asset management, until the deal is exited; and

(ii) deciphering real estate trends and interpreting their impact on decision making and investment returns.

The candidate will be required to participate and contribute in the review of several different types of real estate investment transactions for investment marketplace and for fund of qualified investor CB Property Investors. While in parallel, the person is expected to also demonstrate innovative ways to utilize the interpretation of real estate trends to help existing investors and as a method of attracting other investors to the Crowdberry brand.

The Mission will be to drive the impact of Crowdberry as an investment marketplace for real estate investments and help the economy to develop a strong economic backbone through a thriving Startup, SME and real estate environment.

Role Objectives

This part of the role is transaction focussed and involves:
• Liaison with investment sales agents and vendors of real estate
• Preparation of cashflow investment and development returns models
• Preparation of key investment analysis documents for committee approval
• Preparation of client investment memorandums and other marketing documents
• Communication with investors, real estate developers and external consultants
• Active participation in the real estate investment process and deal structuring, with direct collaboration with the senior members of the team.
• Review of investment opportunities, marketing and client related activities

Our requirements

• University degree, preferably in finance/banking/economics;
• 6-8 years of relevant work experience – ideally in real estate investment, corporate finance or consultancy;
• Market and (financial) data research skills with good attention to detail skills;
• Experience in financial modelling, ability to understand financial statements, reports and presentations;
• Good writing and communications skills in Slovak and English is a must
• Intellectual curiosity with a twist of creativity
• An individual who has a flexible approach to work and enjoys challenges over routine;
• An entrepreneurial “can-do” attitude with a thirst for continuous learning;
• Active participation in an open-minded, creative and hard-working team.
