Job description, responsibilities and duties
- Manage the whole production process to ensure that the defined quantity of finished and semi-finished product is ready for delivery on time, within the specified quality and budgeted costs. Undertake actions to improve production performance.
- Plan, organize, manage and monitor the production to achieve the quantities stipulated, within the desired quality level, costs budgeted and personnel needs.
- In collaboration with relevant stakeholders (Maintenance Manager, Quality Manager and Process Performance Engineer / Manager), undertake actions to minimize failures and to achieve the desired quality standard.
- Inform and motivate production personnel, ensure their availability and performance according to plant needs and promote their professional development through coaching, individual development plans and trainings.
- Contribute to define the departmental strategy, production budget and cost targets (PMP, raw materials…). Forecast volumes in cooperation with Sales and Logistics. Implement effective and systematic solutions to meet or exceed targets (AFR, electricity management, fixed costs…).
- Guarantee and foster compliance with OH&S and environment policies for all production personnel. Establish safety culture and tackle specific actions to ensure health prevention during production activities. Ensure plant cleanliness within production premises.
- Together with the Process Performance Engineer / Manager and using experience in other plants, consider and propose new techniques and/or technologies to optimize costs and to improve productivity of the installed equipment. Use experience from other plants or industries.
- Contribute and enhance the implementation of standards through appropriate communication, optimization of processes and structures, supervision and control of their use for activities under responsibility.
- Shift Organization, Packing & Dispatch and siding, AFR, Process , Control Room Management.

1.Profound knowledge of cement production process
2.Good understanding of project costing structure

4.5 years experience with cement industry (dealing with production, quality or maintenance).
