Senior Tax Manager (internal Finance Department)

Responsibilities:   

• Prepare tax relevant parts of the financial statements (monthly/ quarterly/ annual)   
• Ensure transfer pricing documentation is in place   
• Coordination and monitoring of all tax related topic with relevant stakeholders in different countries  
• Ensure preparation, calculation, coordination, reconciliation, bookkeeping, supporting documentation and communication with Tax & Customs authorities in the area of Corporate income tax, VAT and withholding tax
• Ensure the periodic filing and timely payments of all tax returns
• Maintain good professional relations with external tax authorities 
• Coordinate and ensure statutory and IFRS deferred taxes calculation
• Prepare all necessary tax relevant documentation and reports related to year end closing
• Monitor legislative changes in the area of taxes and implement them accordingly
• Provide advice on intercompany recharge queries and partner with the business to find tax compliant solutions to intercompany recharge
• Ensure tax relevant requirements are implemented within the process set-up  

Requirements:

• Advanced English (written and spoken) is a must 
• At least 7-10 years experience in finance and at least 5 years in tax area
• Knowledge of the Slovak (or any other EU country) tax legislation
• Knowledge of IFRS is an advantage
• Experience from multinational companies or from tax advisory/tax consulting companies
• Excellent communication & organizational skills
• Self-motivation with high commercial awareness and initiative 
• Very good negotiation skills 
• Knowledge of MS Office and SAP
