Job description, responsibilities and duties
Responsibilities:
- Optimal organisation of the transport department, with focus on profitability, quality, efficiency and customer satisfaction
- Develop business and new relationships with potential customers
- Search continuously for optimisations and improvements
- Able to run the business day to day
Requirements:
- Strong commercial feel with proven contacts in the business area
- Relevant experience in managing a transport office is a must
- Experience with Benelux transport market is a big advantage
- Great communication skills in both Slovak and English (spoken and written)
- Time flexibility
- Drive for continuous improvement
- Ability to make decisions and work independently
- Strong knowledge of EU Legislation with regards to driving/working times
- Experience in forwarding activity is an advantage not a must
