Business Intelligence Reporting Expert

YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The Business Intelligence (BI) team is responsible for designing and delivering a global information platform for Covestro as a standardized basis for analysis, reporting and consolidation, currently based on SAP Business Information Warehouse (BW) technology and SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC).

The task of this position in particular is to provide information for the Accounting and/or Procurement departments.

The following tasks arise within the defined subset of information areas:

• Alignment of requirements and implementation of standardized solutions in SAP BW and SAC that can be used efficiently and globally
• Design, development and quality assurance of standardized analyses
• Active promotion of analytics solutions to maximize the use and benefit of available information resources
• Promote the exchange of know-how within the BI team and the community, especially with regard to SAC expertise
• Ensuring the availability and accuracy of information
• Business intelligence consulting to enable BI users to utilize the available BI tools and information sources efficiently and correctly
• Support in the transition to BW4Hana and S4HANA, especially in adapting to new business processes, quality assurance, customization of queries

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Master's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science or Business Informatics or comparable qualification
• At least 3 years of professional experience; either as a software developer, business analyst or as a professional in accounting and/or procurement
• Ability to communicate and collaborate cross-functionally, drive change management
• Hands-on experience with JAVA Script, Python or other professional programming languages
• Overview of software development concepts and processes
• Experience with SAP BW, especially queries and front-ends (analysis for office)
• Ability to learn new topics and work analytically
• Very good written and spoken English

Salary

2 230 EUR/monthThe minimum salary is 2230 EUR/month. The basic salary can be higher depending on the skills and previous experience of the candidate.
