IT Solution Engineer Application Management AWS

YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The CFO (Chief Financial Officer) Community manages Covestro’s financial processes. It is also responsible for providing legal services and IT solutions to the company as a whole.
The Application Services (AS) department within Covestro IT is responsible for the IT solutions and applications that map the business processes at entire Covestro. The vacant position supports the digitalization of Engineering and plant maintenance business processes.

• In your new position you will be responsible for architecture, implementation and operation of applications within AWS in the area of engineering and plant maintenance.
• Furthermore you are responsible for all IT security aspects for these services
• You are responsible for vendor management of the applications in your area
• You analyze and assess new IT requirements out of the business functions and find the optimal solution
• You work with other teams on the improvement of the AWS architecture and the introduction of new products and services
• You lead IT projects in the functional area of Engineering and Plant Maintenance

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• You have an university degree or an equivalent qualification
• You have very good technical knowledge in AWS Cloud Services, InfrastructureAsCode and Linux OS. AWS certifications are a plus
• In addition, you have a good understanding of engineering and related business processes
• You are experienced in IT requirement analysis and characterized by a structured and methodical work style
• You bring analytical and strategic skills and experience in project management
• You can communicate and interact professionally with internal and external colleagues of diverse cultures
• Business fluent English in written and spoken complete your profile

2 800 EUR/monthThe minimum salary is 2800 EUR/month. The basic salary can be higher depending on the skills and previous experience of the candidate.
