Junior Accountant General Accounting Tax Operations

YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The Junior Accountant for General Accounting Tax Operations ensures timely, accurate and compliant service delivery for all General Accounting Tax Operations transactions assigned to his role.

Major tasks and responsibilities on this position include:

• Support of the day to day General Accounting Tax Operations activities for the following process areas:
• Support the tax set-up
• Perform plausibility checks on transactional accounting data
• Follow-up activities related to General Accounting Tax Operations plausibility checks
• Support the preparation of different Tax reports
• Check proper system functionality after system maintenance
• General Accounting Tax Operations activities for other local taxes
• Assist and support ad-hoc requests
• Understand service level agreements and key performance indicators for General Accounting Tax Operations related processes.
• Assist the implementation of initiatives for improving the efficiency and/or effectiveness of the General Accounting Tax Operations transaction processing.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• High school or University degree and/or equivalent experience, preferable in accounting or business
• Some years of experience in a similar role is a plus, but not mandatory
• Basic knowledge of Finance and Accounting end-to-end processes
• Extensive knowledge of MS Excel, knowledge of SAP is a plus
• Ability to adapt to new culture and people
• Strong service orientation: strong commitment to customer orientation and understanding of customer needs.
• Highly motivated and eager to learn
• Good communication skills
• Business proficient English
