Payment Processing Accountant

The GSC Payment Processing Accountant supports and contributes to the timely and accurate processing of all Payment processing activities for assigned scope in accordance with performance, quality and compliance standards defined in relevant service level agreements and as described in the end-to end process documentation.

Major tasks and responsibilities of position

• Execution of all scoped payment transaction in SAP ( manual / automated
• Execution of all scoped payment transaction ourside SAP (e.g. E-banking applications)
• Execution of all connected ICS and operational controls within the overall control environment
• Interact and communicate with the various business partners on demand base.
• Contribute to the continuous maintenance and make update of Payment Processing activities and procedures.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of Payment Processing data, such as creation of payment request and forwarding information for payment posting to be processed by team members.
• Contribute to continuous improvement activities by providing operational expertise
• Participation in international projects in the area of Payment Processing / Banking

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Experience in Payment Processing. (Ideally in a SSC).
• Knowledge of finance and accounting processes and process improvements beneficial
• Work experience with SAP and typical other IT-tools. Technical understanding of IT supported processes to increase process automation
• Self-disciplined with ability to work independently and under stress and pressure
• Communication skills
• Proactivity, responsibility of her/his tasks
• Team player
• Very good English skills and able to communicate in appropriate way
• French or/and Italian is advantage
