Senior Data/Python Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Python code
• Following development process that is suited for building medical product ready for FDA
• Testing and verification of services we build around Data Platform
• Creating and maintaining technical documentation
• Profiling and optimizing code for performance
• Designing and developing services
• Contribution to the architecture design
• Evaluation approaches with focus on functionality and infrastructure
• Collaborating with other software engineers and stakeholders

Skills - Required

• Strong proficiency in Python, with fair knowledge of the language specification
• Proficiency in design patterns and best practices in programming, data structures and algorithms
• Good understanding of concepts for messaging and data processing
• Familiarity with building software for cloud environment – AWS is advantage
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git
• Familiarity with continuous integration
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills
• Good written and verbal communication in English

Preferred:

• Familiarity with Data/Big Data Engineering
• Familiarity with basic AWS serverless services – Lambda, Step Functions, Event Bridge, Athena, Fargate, Glue
• Familiarity with Spark processing
• Enjoying work with different types of data
• Enjoying to learn new concepts and technology
