Medior/Senior C++ developer

As a C++ developer you will be responsible for the design, development, and validation of complex systems for our medical robotics platform. This role requires an understanding of medical device development, strong knowledge of hardware and software integration, and expertise in verification, and validation processes. The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the seamless integration of robotic technologies into the healthcare ecosystem.

Responsibilities

·         Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable C++ code;

·         Debugging existing software and fixing errors;

·         Creating and maintaining technical documentation;

·         Profiling and optimizing code for performance;

·         Integrating software components into a fully functional program;

·         Designing user interfaces and developing back-end services;

·         Collaborating with other software engineers and stakeholders;

Skills

Required

·         Strong proficiency in C++, with fair knowledge of the language specification;

·         Proficiency in object-oriented programming, data structures, algorithms, and design patterns;

·         Good understanding of memory management in non-garbage collected environments;

·         Understanding of dynamic polymorphism and C++ specific notions;

·         Familiarity with templating in C++;

·         Familiarity with embedded systems design, low-level hardware interactions;

·         Knowledge of low-level threading primitives and real-time environments;

·         Familiarity with system call wrapper library functions;

·         Implementation of automated testing platforms and unit tests;

·         Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git;

·         Familiarity with continuous integration;

·         Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills;

·         Good written and verbal communication in English;

Preferred:

·         Experience in medical device and/or robotic development;

·         Familiarity with Qt;

·         Familiarity with Linux OS;
