Job description, responsibilities and duties

• Develop segment/platform specification for given size range base on requirement from product/segment strategy.
• Validation of target construction, scaling-up
and Implementation of developed platform product.
• Responsibility for basic performance of running products and correct release of new products.
• Designing test concepts followed by tire testing
and data evaluation.
• Close interfacing with manufacturing plants internationally.
• Close cooperation with other departments within
R&D worldwide.
• Project membership and leadership between Continental departments worldwide.

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)
Postgraduate (Doctorate)

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2)

Personality requirements and skills

  • University degree in technical field (e.g. chemical, mechanical engineering).
  • English language on communication level.
  • Advantage is having skills in:
 Project management,
 Programming in MS Excel VBA,
 Basics in field of Data science.
  • Personal skills:
 Flexible thinker with initiative approach,
 Structured working style,
 Strong communication and sociable networking skills.
