Job description, responsibilities and duties
The IT Competence Center R&D Tires provides a central platform for managing the product lifecycle (PLM) to the tires research and development department of Continental. The application supports the business processes to plan and execute international product and technology development (e.g. activity and resource planning). As a Software Engineer you extend the system and implement new requirements in a cross-functional team.Your tasks would be:
> Implementation of requirements on a modern JAVA Web-stack.
> Management of the application lifecycle (requirement engineering, design,
implementation and support).
> Ongoing development of the technical architecture.
> Working in development projects.
> Ensure Software Quality, for example by static code analysis.
> Support and Training of key-users.
