Job description, responsibilities and duties
In this exciting job as an application owner you work on the following tasks during the complete application lifecycle (design, implementation, roll-out, support/ operation):Running requirement workshops with the business departments and defining IT concepts.
Implementing and coding the requirement on the optimization platform.
Securing software quality through comprehensive testing.
Deploying the application to end users.
Documenting and transferring knowledge to business partners.
Ensuring the application support based on ITIL.

Personality requirements and skills
Academic degree in business informatics, engineering, computer science, mathematics or similar studies.
Expertise in Java / Scala, or similar programming languages ideally using IntelliJ IDEA.
Experience as a software developer.
Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
Intercultural sensitivity.
Capabilities to switch focus.
Keen attention to detail.
Efficient troubleshooting capabilities.
Great customer service and interpersonal skills.
First experience with build tools such as SBT beneficial.
Knowledge in operations research beneficial.
Professional working proficiency in English.
Open to travel up to 5%.
