Job description, responsibilities and duties

Co-ordination of the brand General Tire in EMEA in regards
to availability and stock management, target optimal level between service level achievement, inventories and logistics costs.

> Weekly availability check and shortage escalation
for European and non-European plants for General Tire brand. Co-ordination of interface between market organizations and SCO EMEA. Balance between central warehouse and plant stocks.
> Ensure replenishment & safety stock settings are properly maintained by article
> Coordinate sea container inbound, monitor inbound slots, facilitate customs clearance documents
> Coordinate inbound slots with market & service provider
> SAP articles maintenance (phase in/ phase out)
> Manage inventory within turn rate target & max stock capacity, monitor stock development
> Manage overstock & out of age stock: downgrade out
of age stock, initiate sales actions with Central Pricing
> Support logistics for logistics budget cost (rent, handling, freight)
> Check the order book follows OHG and contact markets
for necessary actions
> PIPO check on order book
> Decision in regards to deviations from OHG (e.g. smaller shipments)
> Re-allocation between markets in case of priority decisions
> Set up and improve brand reporting as well as KPIs in the area of:
  • stock levels, stock structure
  • availability: coverage, fillrate
  • order management: wrong plant, wrong articles
> Warehouse and transport KPIs: support logistics in regards
to service reporting
> Participate in logistics improvement projects (e.g. new distribution countries), digitalization approaches
> SCM interface to brand management projects
> SCM system projects

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)

Educational Specialization

Business Administration (or similar) / relevant tertiary qualification

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2)

Personality requirements and skills

> Bachelor degree in Business Administration (or similar) / relevant tertiary qualification
> English fluently
> 2 years experiences in demand management or logistics
> Experiences in logistics processes (inventory management
and distribution)
> System knowledge: SCORE / RP, SST functionalities
> Project management skills
> Analytical skills
> Knowledge of relevant Brand Sales strategies advantage
> Experience of working in an international environment
