Job description, responsibilities and duties
The duration of the program is 18 months and splits into3 phases:
Home Plant Stay: You will spend the first 10-12 months
in your home plant to get a deep insight into all
manufacturing related processes. Besides understanding
the existing IT systems, their interfaces and relevant
dataflows, you will also work in the production in order
to understand the special requirements of Manufacturing
IT.
Central Stay: After your home plant stay you will rotate
to the central Manufacturing functions in Hannover for 6
months and work in a Manufacturing IT Trainee Pool
along with Trainees from other programs. During this phase you will get profound knowledge about the central systems architecture and the interaction of different central departments, work on strategic and global projects while building a network with the central colleagues and trainees.
Job Placement (Home Plant): After the program, you will return to your home plant for your first job placement in the areas of Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Engineering, Quality Management or IT.

Personality requirements and skills
>Bachelor degree in Engineering, Computer Science or comparable technical qualification with 2-3 years working experience.
>Broad overview of IT infrastructure, Database Systems, Windows Operating systems and Office 365.
>First experience in the realization of IT projects desirable.
>Enthusiasm for "smart manufacturing", digitalization and Internet of Things.
>Strong analytical capabilities, capacity for structured thinking and coping with high complexity.
>Strong interpersonal- and communication skills, committed team player in a multicultural environment.
>Eager to improve and support production processes.
>Driven by passion, open minded personality, high operational readiness.
>Upper Intermediate (B2) level of written and spoken English.
>Willingness to travel internationally (6 months stay abroad).
>Broad overview of IT infrastructure, Database Systems, Windows Operating systems and Office 365.
>First experience in the realization of IT projects desirable.
