Job description, responsibilities and duties
Ensure reliable applicaton operations of tire manufacturing systems.Ensure all interfaces are running properly.
Support and coordinate software enhancements and maintenance including resolution and change management.
Ensure communitacation with IT departments (Shopfloor-MES, Quality systems, SAP systems, specifications systems and local plant IT), Engineering (PLCs) and internal customers in an international environment.
Project lead and support for internal projects and worldwide roll outs for all plants.
Define and document “Best Practices” regarding application support and ongoing operations.

> Academic degree in IT, natural science or related fields.
Personality requirements and skills
Practical job experience as IT service consultant in an industrial enterprise.
English language skills required.
Intermediate database operations knowledge.
Good MS Windows operation system and scripting knowledge.
Good programming skills (DotNet, C#, Visual Basic).
Intermediate knowledge in project management.
Intermediate knowledge in ITIL.
Analytical and strategic thinking.
Flexibility, commintment and ability to work in teams.
Willingness to travel (approx. 40 %, world-wide).
English language skills required.
