HR Generalist – Slovakia

About the role

We need an HR Generalist for our Slovak team – someone who'll own the full employee lifecycle on the ground in Košice, where around 50 people work. Payroll, recruitment, employer brand, well-being, a bit of ESG – it all lands with you. You'll work closely with our R&D HRBP and the broader HR team, but you won't be waiting for permission to get things done.

What you'll be doing

• Payroll & Compensation

Making sure people get paid correctly and on time, answering questions about salaries and benefits, handling annual tax reconciliation, and keeping local benefit schemes running smoothly.

• Recruitment & Onboarding

Opening roles, running the full recruitment process locally, writing offer letters, and making sure every new hire actually enjoys their first few weeks — not just survives them.

• Employer Brand

This one's a real focus. You'll shape how ComAp comes across as an employer in Slovakia — social media, university partnerships, job fairs, referral programmes. You'll make sure our story lands with the right people.

• Performance & People Development

Supporting performance cycles, navigating tricky people situations, running exit interviews, and helping employees find learning opportunities through our LXP platform.

• Operations

Well-being initiatives, Health & Safety coordination, ESG data collection.

What we're looking for

• Start in August 2026
• 3+ years in HR – as a HR Generalist, HR Specialist, HRBP, or Recruiter
• Strong knowledge of Slovak labor law and payroll
• A genuine people-first approach,
• Proactive & hands-on personality
• Experience in employer branding would be a big advantage for you
• Fluent in Slovak and English
