CANDIDATE’S PROFILE
The Project Specialist is responsible for implementing new system and/or process functionalities within the scope of activities performed by Operations Department. These activities are mainly related to insurance policy lifecycle, e.g. policy activation/changes/cancellation, credit control process, cooperation with external partners such as intermediaries, banks, printing house, etc. as well as reporting tools. She/he will be working in number of smaller or bigger teams and will be the coordinator between the Delivery team and final users (i.e. policy admin representatives at Operations department responsible for a particular portfolio). She/he will also be partially responsible for a particular portfolio to keep a track with the processes at Operations department.
DAY TO DAY TASKS – MAIN DUTIES
- Detailed analysis of the current process
- Defining change requirements, benefits and challenges in order to align the “out of the box” solution to the current process
- Making effective recommendations and/or decisions during the delivery of new functionalities and/or systems/processes
- Test case writing, testing as well as coordinating testers in broader UAT
- BUGs reporting and New tickets writing and follow up
- Mainly working in international teams (currently six countries) where it is essential to understand the background of processes of other countries in order to find the most common solution for all
- Also working in local teams throughout the whole branch to understand relations and implications of systems and processes (underwriting, sales, claims, finance, etc.)
- Continuous takeover of the suitable activities from the Delivery team
- Responsibility for a particular portfolio to keep a track with the processes
- And all other tasks assigned by the Operations manager
