Power BI Senior Finance Analyst

We are Clarios Slovakia, and we are looking for a new Financial Data and Analytics Lead. If you feel you can be the one, you will get the chance to define the new reporting set up for our finance analyses. You will be trained and equipped with set of tools to drive reporting leading to business decisions in the competitive global environment. You will be dealing with diverse set of business partners with various demands and your goal will be to align those and get the best solution for our company.

We expect you to be independent, self-driving personality. You will be directly responsible for setting up reports, short-term and long-term improvements and you will look for the ways and means on how to maintain these reports up to date.

What else will be your responsibilities?

• Driving the reporting transformation to Power BI platform

• Prepare and maintain report templates for more advanced reports, supervise all enhancement and development requests.

• Review and analyze financial reports collected from different departments and recommend activities for future income of organization.

• Administer production and distribution of internal financial reports, compile various cross functional reports. Drive the reporting simplification and efficiency.

• Collaborate with senior management and provide update on financial reports, progress and modifications. Explain the variances to senior leadership team.

• Ensure compliance with internal controls and prepare financial reports, document accounting policies according to IFRS accounting standards and update same on GAAP.

• Coordinate with various departments and monitor annual and quarterly deliverables for outside auditors and prepare SOX documentation.

Job Requirements:

• Business education degree or adequate professional experience focusing on Finance/Accounting/Controlling.

• Strong experience with Power BI, report design and modeling, data management.

• You are fully familiar with MS-Office, (MS Excel – advanced – tables, charts, formulas, pivot tables, MS Outlook), you have an ERP experience (SAP preferred)

• Fluency in English

• We look for a person with passion for a continues improvement and with transformation skills.

• You will be communicating with senior management therefore good communications skills are a must.

• Your experience with leading reporting projects is definitely a plus.

• We expect you’ll be able to explain the difference between actuals vs. budget. Please make sure you are able to prepare a trend analysis and make a conclusion/statement.

The starting salary is at min 2 300 EUR/month gross for candidates who meet our minimum criteria.
