Job description, responsibilities and duties

On this role you will be responsible for maintaining the Service Management Process Architecture, coordinating all changes to processes and making sure that all processes cooperate in a seamless way.
The Service Management Architect is also responsible for maintaining the Service Management Architecture, a description of the essential components of a business, including their interrelationships.

You will work directly with the Enterprise Service Manager the IT Process Office Manager, and the IT Leadership team and their direct reports especially Applications, Infrastructure Security and the Service Operations Managers on a daily basis to set up and continuously improve the Service Management Platform and the related processes.

What will be your Key Responsibilities?

From an operational point of view you will be accountable for:
• Overall data integrity of the entire CMDB and leveraging their value
• Design/Optimization of Service Management Platform based on best practices
• Engaging business and IT management to encourage configuration management efforts and value proposition
• Evaluation of Current Processes for Continuous Improvement
• Evaluation and Governance for Process Enhancements
• Service Management Improvement Program
• Service Management Platform and integration Strategy
• Design/Define ITSM Processes
• ITSM Process Governance and ITSM Process Operational Management
• ServiceNow Platform Governance / Change approval
• Keeping the Architecture documents up to date
• Reviewing and approving significant changes (Infra/Apps/Security) assuring their CMDB impact is addressed
• Engages with the PMO on strategic projects to ensure Configuration Management functionality is delivered in appropriate timeframes

What else you will be doing?
• Partner with the IT business partners and SME’s to create/improve process and service models which reflect appropriate request offerings for their business needs.
• Provide best practice configuration recommendations during design phases.
• Identify solution alternatives and make a recommendation as to the best implementation approach of the systems functions
• Provide quality assurance on configuration and development changes.
• Manage preparation and communication of deliverables documentation.
• Ensure work is properly documented including all key customizations and report specifications
• Follow proper controls in the areas of security, access, separation of duties, design and release standards.
• Make effective proactive value add recommendations followed up by action leading to positive concrete results contributing to business and IT success
• Proactively communicate the status of your work to your development team leader. Include current estimate-to-complete for your tasks, accomplishments, current workload, issues and roadblocks
• Provide regular and consistent communication to contacts on status of their issues or requests
• Provide proactive identification and escalation of application issues that require an increased focus or management attention
• Adapting to cultural and organizational climates across global team
• Work with cross-functional team, contractors, and vendors to deliver business functionality

What technical qualification are we looking for?
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Business Administration or other relevant area
• 4+ years of professional experience in an SMO organization
• 5+ years of professional service management architecture experience
• ServiceNow In-depth (CMDB) knowledge and proven data model implementation preferable CSDM
• ServiceNow In-depth knowledge of ITSM, ITAM, ITOM, AIOPS, Discovery required
ITBM, HR, SECOPS, preferred
• Track record of successful integrations from ServiceNow to other service providers
• Deep knowledge on products like Flexera and ADDM beneficial
• Demonstrated experience of both Waterfall and Agile software development methodologies
• ITIL certification is a must.
• Demonstrated proficiency in portfolio, project and service management tools specially MS Project and ServiceNow, additional Daptiv knowledge preferred
• Demonstrated proficiency in MS office tools, MS SharePoint, MS Flow, specifically MS PowerBI (dashboard design) and MS Excel, including complex workbooks and pivot tables, as well as MS PowerPoint and MS Visio.
• Demonstrated excellent documentation and training skills

The starting salary is at min 4 000 EUR/month gross for candidates who meet our minimum criteria.
