Cash Application Clerk (suitable for Junior Accountants and Graduates)

We are Clarios Slovakia and we power our state-of-art energy storage solutions, running every third car produced in the world.

As a Cash Application Clerk you will have a chance to have an impact on the incoming cash and directly see the real numbers of collected cash and discuss the current trends of open items on account receivables with our business partners.

You will be part of a team of energetic and friendly 18 people. At Clarios we support and help each other to grow. If you like a positive team spirit, this might be a place for you. The team leader of this department is a great guy who is energetic, supportive and reliable :).

What will you do?
• Daily allocation of incoming payments
• Comparison of payments details with open receivables booked on customer account.
• Researching and resolve payment discrepancies, when applicable
• Processing of manual journal entries according to Clarios policies
• Cooperating with other accountants and our business partners in order to follow the policies and guidelines during processing and participate in month-end close activities.

What are we looking for?
• We expect you to have a degree in Finance/Accounting
• If you have already some accounting background it would be a big plus as it will be easier for you to understand the processes and connect the dots
• Knowledge of the Microsoft Office products is very important
• You should have fluent English as you will be communicating daily with our business partners
• We value engaged and motivated people the most! Can-do attitude and pro-active approach are more than welcomed at Clarios

The starting salary is at min 1 100 EUR/month gross for candidates who meet our minimum criteria. We also offer 13th salary.
