We are Clarios Slovakia and we are looking for an Assistant Controller. You will be responsible for providing financial support to the EMEA Aftermarket teams, with a focus on the Middle East, Turkey, and Africa (META) region. You will be working with Finance teams, performing an initial review of work, and contributes to the team by communicating key findings and opportunities with potential for future responsibilities growth. You will be directly responsible for providing ad-hoc analysis, creates/fosters partnerships with the Business and Finance team located within Europe with a dotted line reporting to the META Regional Controller.

We will also need your support in:
• Month/year-end close activities including preparation of manual journal entries, reporting the results, preparation of bridges for META region. As well as participate in OPS deck preparation and presentation for the sub-region.
• Ensure account accuracy (correction, accruals, IC charges) and on-time reconciliation preparation in required quality for countries/accounts in scope.
• Timely finance and management reporting using SAP/Business Warehouse platform
• Supporting planning and budgeting process for the Meta region during the year.
• Indirect PO creation (SRM) and maintenance.
• Supporting Sales Managers from all/subregions with reports
• Credit Limit review and payment terms change request
• process enhancements, internal control improvements, and ensure SOX Compliance

• Degree in Finance, business administration, or adequate professional experience focusing on accounting, finance, or controlling
• Min 2 years in the Accounting/finance/controlling of an industrial company or in an accounting firm
• Familiarity with MS-Office and SAP FI/CO; SAP/BW (Business Warehouse) and HFM/OneStream is a plus
• Fluent in English, Analytical skills
• Demonstrated ability to work on standalone agenda as well as in the teams as we like to mutually charge our batteries with a positive attitude and atmosphere :)

The starting salary is at min 2 400 €/ month gross for candidates who meet our minimum criteria.
