What are we looking for?
We are looking for a consultant working in our Funding Advisory Team. The role requires proven expertise in Project/ Proposal Development for EU-funding, State Aid Schemes and other funding programmes.
The selected candidates will be involved in following activities:
• supporting important Slovak SMEs and corporates in access to funding
• supporting Slovak innovation ecosystem through impactful system-wide projects in cooperation with policy makers and important stakeholders
• contribution to Funding Strategies development
• lead or significant contribution to proposal development & submission
• project implementation/ grant management support
• collection of relevant data from clients, including conduction of client interviews
• contribution to preparation of business plans and/or feasibility studies, based on data collected from the clients
• preparation and submission of applications and full application files

• relevant experience with grants-based funding programmes at national/European level
• good overview of the funding programmes available in the current funding cycle (e.g. EU-funding, State Aid schemes, other funding programmes)
• relevant experience in project implementation / grant management
• relevant experience in developing and writing Business Plans and/or Feasibility Studies in the context of funding programmes would be a plus
• relevant experience with innovation funding programmes (especially Horizon 2020) would be a significant plus
• strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and interpret significant amounts of data with attention to detail and accuracy.
• corporate finance skills (financial planning, cost-benefit analysis for investment projects, financial modelling, project evaluation) would be a plus
• relevant academic background – Economics/ Finance or Technical
• relevant experience with grants-based funding programmes at national/European level
