Hotel Sales Representative

What will your job look like?

As a Sales Representative you will support the Director of Sales & Marketing and the Sales and Events Team in both reactive and proactive activities on and off property. The exciting role involves building and strengthening relationships with new and existing clients, contracting companies, supporting with the preparation of month end reports, supporting with familiarization events (eg client events).
You will work with colleagues to ensure that customers receive a first class hospitality service to facilitate repeat business and maximise profitability. Providing a high quality service, you will respond to customers’ enquiries, prepare quotes, manage negotiations and show customers around the hotel.

• Build and strengthen relationships with new and existing customers
• Assists in the creation and implementation of effective marketing communications to increase revenue.
• Provides proactive and reactive sales support to the sales department when required.
• Provides administrative assistance to the Director of Sales & Marketing.
• Assist with incoming enquiries and liaise with relevant depts.
• Knowledge of overall hotel operations
• Organize and attend client events, FAM trips, trade shows, etc.
• Effectively use sales resources
• Support the implementation of on-going public relations programs that are strategically planned to support and enhance the hotels marketing efforts in order to target market areas and reinforce the corporate identity.
• To perform any other reasonable task as requested by management.
