We are currently looking for a part time talented, dynamic Business Development Executive. The role is a part time or possibly full time role for a contractor who has a trade licence and is self employed.

Madison Publications is a European Business to Business media company with a focus on the grocery retail sector. The company produces the leading print magazine for the European grocery retail industry, as well as number of ancillary digital products and events. If you have an interest in news, publishing or sales and believe you have the relevant experience, skills, and attributes to be an ideal candidate for this role, we would like to hear from you!
This role is perfect for an individual who is looking for either part time work or who is set up as a self employed contractor and would like to provide their services on a contractor basis. Candidates must have excellent organisational and administrative skills. The successful candidate should also be a person who is a good problem solver with excellent communication skills and who is highly computer literate and dedicated to excelling in their work. The role required the successful candidate to be fluent in English both written and spoken.
An outgoing personality and inclination for sales would be an advantage as the role could evolve from focussing on administration to include selling advertising for our magazine.

Responsibilities: (Please note some only apply once the Office re-opens)
· Preparing and disseminating correspondence, memos, reports and forms.
· Administrative support to the editorial and advertising sales teams.
· Calling client companies to update their contact details and to inform them of events we might be running.
· Supporting and facilitating the completion of regular sales and productivity reports.
· Assist colleagues by supporting them with planning and distributing information.
· Updating our controlled subscription database.
Requirements
· Impeccable written and spoke English C2 level
· Proven work experience as an administrative assistant or office manager.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and a good listener.
· Integrity and professionalism, and ability to influence and guide people.
· Friendly, outgoing personality and a can-do attitude.
· Good time management skills, attention to detail, the ability to prioritise and work well under pressure independently and in teams.
· Highly organised, self-motivated and good initiative.
· An ability to influence and encourage other people, to ensure adoption of company procedures by staff.
