Currently, we are looking for a person for a strategic retail transformation program delivering a country-specific carve-out of ERP landscape and transition from the current service provider. We are looking for a senior E2E Solution Architect / Technical Design Authority (TDA) who will take architectural ownership across the carve-out, it technical and application architecture and design, integration, data migration, testing streams.
This is a client-facing role.
Role Overview:
• Act as the Solution Architect and Technical Design Authority within the program.
• Own end-to-end solution architecture across business, application, integration and data layers
• Work on solution designs and enforce architectural governance
• Ensure successful transition from incumbent provider
• Drive integration consistency and transitional architecture during carve-out
• Be the primary architectural interface toward the client

Key Responsibilities
Architecture & Governance
• Define and maintain the target architecture
• Design and validate E2E solution architecture (HLD, LDL)
• Review and approve solution designs of technical teams
Carve-Out & Transition
• Architect separation from the incumbent provider
• Define System boundaries, integration decoupling strategy, data separation and migration approach, Cutover architecture
• Identify risks, dependencies and mitigation strategies
• Support transition and hypercare phases
Integration
o Lead integration of ERP system with the existing ecosystem
o Define: API and integration patterns, Data flows, Interfaces, event and batch integration models
o Ensure alignment between retail business processes and technical solution
Stakeholder Engagement
o Act as primary architectural contact for the client
o Present solution concepts to client stakeholders and steering committees
o Collaborate with: Project Managers, Business analysts, Infrastructure & security teams, External vendors
Required Experience
o 8–10+ years in IT architecture roles
o Proven experience as Solution Architect / Lead Architect / TDA
Strong experience in:
o Complex integration programs
o Carve-out or transition initiatives
o Multi-vendor environment
o Client-facing experience
o Retail IT experience preferred
Technical competencies
o Application architecture design
o Integration architecture (REST, APIs, ESB, messaging)
o Data modeling and migration strategies
