Job description, responsibilities and duties
Act as a specialist in Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) and Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) initiatives and corresponding analytics to continuously expand and improve the company´s sustainability efforts and sustainable impact.
Duties and responsibilities:
- plan, communicate and execute Life Cycle Assessments and related projects
-lead and supervise work streams around LCA activities and corresponding implementation of KPIs and dashboards
- perform quantitative sustainability assessment and LCA modelling using LCA software package
- develop and implement reporting to various internal stakeholders
- develop product and plant strategies to achieve embodied carbon reduction targets
- collect and manage supplier data collection and engagement
- develop environmental impact disclosure projects such as EPDs
- support development of product-level strategies and support the management of multi-year strategic outcomes to achieve sustainability goals
- identify opportunities for impact reductions using a variety of tools including energy generation and efficiency, optimized materials, carbon credit procurement, and supply chain engagement
- collaborate with team members cross-functionally to support ESG goals
- continually educate self on trends and changes related to LCA methodologies and reporting standards.
