Machinery Supervisor

- Maintain production processes based on quality criteria, such as efficiency and conformance
- Study production and machine requirements, set and run optimal operation of assigned machines
- Follow up on work instructions for machine operation
- Responsible for correct use of the machines by the operators
- Manage tools for the machines and maintain tools stock
- Give training to machine operators for correct setting, use and daily upkeep of the machines
- Check the outputs and quality of products and finding solutions to any discrepancies
- Follow up on adherence to established machine standards, work discipline, principles of health and safety
- Collaborate in optimizing production processes and finding potential for improvement (facility layouts, production lines, machine operations and workflow)
- Release machines for preventive maintenance and record overhead costs (reduction of costs for repairs and tools)
- Backup of Production Supervisor
- Machine programming
- Other necessary administrative tasks such as registration of machine occupancy and support of department processes.
- Directly reporting to Production Manager.
