Job description, responsibilities and duties

Workplace center Bratislava is department of CBRE. We are a team of experts in Space and Occupancy management. We closely cooperate with Workplace Consultant´s teams in the UK, across Europe and US based on the global occupancy contracts. Our team manages the client`s premises as well as supports them with space planning, architecture and design activities. We help them to oversee their buildings portfolio – CAFM /computer aided facility management/ using IWMS /integrated workplace management software/. Our data experts track and analyze space and occupancy data, our CAD experts work with buildings, maintain floorplans and apply local as well as global standards. Our space planners and specialists work on planning, forecasting and designing best solutions for client´s workplace to meet & exceed their expectations.

Key Accountabilities:

50% of this position is to provide occupancy & space planning support, including the interpretation of space planning metrics in an effort to provide recommendations and proposed solutions for a client's BAU move requests and/or for individual and small group moves

Demonstrates responsiveness to service requests with accurate, timely and complete development of spatial solutions, hand-offs, and IWMS entries.

The other 50% is to analyzes space requirements and develop test fits to support recommendations to the client and real estate team(s) and/or stake holders.

Demonstrating the ability to innovate and creatively drive efficient thoughtful solutions; focus on Activity Based Workplace as well at legacy build-out reconfigurations. Develiverables must focus on fit for purpose and adherence to Merck standards & guidelines, etc. and general building codes.

Support moves requests that can be managed at the desktop level within IWMS. Collaborates with MAC and GFIM to support the accurate inputs needed.

Conducts analysis and review of work area(s) affected by move planning to ensure that current location(s) and office availability at destination location(s) is reflected accurately in IWMS. Collaborates with other team members to gain business intelligence. May be required to perform desktop validation exercises.

Partners with other departments on move and relocation sequencing and execution.

Produces Test Fits using AutoCAD .

May need to coordinates with clients to acquire the necessary relocation justification & move program requirements.

Acts as a single point of contact for relevant BAU move requests to process them for Move desk & MAC execution support.

Inputs data into IWMS as required to support moves.

Produce PPT presentations capturing the test fits and other client facing documents.

Email Communications with key stakeholders, teammates, MAC, GFIM, email.

Personality requirements and skills

- CAFM Software experience preferred
- Intermediate experience in Microsoft Office Suite applications including: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, etc. PowerPoint & Excel use is as key as AutoCAD
- AutoCAD proficiency
- Plans Pro experience preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and analytical skills. Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to customers. Ability to effectively present information.
- Ability to comprehend and interpret instructions, short correspondence, and memos and ask clarifying questions to ensure understanding. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from clients, co-workers, and/or supervisor. Ability to effectively present information to an internal department and/or large groups of employees.
- Intermediate-Proficient experience in Microsoft Office Suite applications including: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, etc.
- Requires basic knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability to calculate simple figures such as percentages, commissions, rent rates, allocations, etc.
- Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret documents. Ability to solve problems involving several options in situations. Requires intermediate analytical and quantitative skills.
- Familiar with system furniture design and modular furniture while demonstrating knowledge and adherence to building regulations and health & safety guidelines.
- Ability to provide efficient, timely and reliable service to client(s). Ability to present information in an effective way.
